LGBTQ Therapy

I offer LGBTQ affirming counselling and psychotherapy to individuals online and in-person in north London.

It can be hard as queer people to find the right support. To not have to educate your therapist. To not have to worry about your therapist misgendering you or other microaggressions they might not even realise. This doesn't create a space that feels safe for you to talk about the things you actually want to talk about, whether related to your sexuality or not.  If you’re looking for a LGBTQ+ therapist who gets it, send me a message to arrange a session.

Some of the issues I can support with include:

  • Sexual orientation

  • Gender identity

  • Exploring and understanding the intersections of your identity

  • Gender dysphoria

  • Cultural and societal stigma

  • Homophobia, transphobia and biphobia

  • Self-esteem

  • Navigating your or your partner’s transition

  • Queer relationship issues (see more info about how I work with relationships)

  • Coming out (this can include coming out later in life, fear of coming out, uncertainty how to come out)

  • Trauma (see more how I work with trauma)

You can see my profile in the following queer and gender-affirming therapy directories:

Whatever is going on for you, whether you identify as queer, asexual, lesbian, gay, bi, intersex, asexual, trans, non-binary, genderqueer, or you’re not really sure– you are welcome.

If you’re looking for in-person or online therapy for LGBTQ people, from a gender affirming therapist, get in touch.

I don’t support conversion therapy practices for anyone in our community. I am kink and sex worker friendly.
